"Arrived 22:15 on the Railjet from Vienna, chauffeur waiting at lift 4. Three suitcases, zero stress."

Salzburg Hauptbahnhof sits 1.4 km from Mirabellplatz – 18 minutes on foot, 30 with trolleys over cobblestones. We collect you directly at lift 4 or platform level and deliver you personally to hotel or address.
Salzburg Hauptbahnhof opened in 1860 and reopened in 2014 after a €250 million rebuild. It serves around 28,000 passengers daily, about 60% long-distance (Railjet Vienna–Munich, Railjet Vienna–Zurich, ICE Frankfurt–Vienna). In summer that swells to 35,000–40,000 during the Salzburg Festival – including musicians carrying instruments from 3 kg (flute) to 35 kg (tuba).
What you can't see on the route from platform to hotel doorway: two lifts, three escalators, an 80-metre bridge, a stair hall, a revolving door, and – if you arrived at platforms 5–9 – an extra 240-metre walk under the station roof to the forecourt. With two large bags, a cello, and a partner who's changing after a 6-hour train ride, that's a choreography that rarely runs smoothly.
Our service: your chauffeur meets you in person at lift 4 (or on request directly at the platform with a platform ticket), takes the main luggage, walks you 80 metres to the southern loading zone where our vehicle is parked. In 4 minutes you're out of the station and on Rainerstrasse heading for Mirabellplatz. During the festival we route to the shortest entrance for the Grosses Festspielhaus or Felsenreitschule, because Hofstallgasse jams reliably between 18:30 and 19:30.
| Vehicle | Passengers | Flat rate from |

Festival dispatch · since 2015
The Salzburg Festival runs officially mid-July to end of August, but our festival season starts with the Whitsun Festival in late May and runs through to the overture concerts in early June. During this window, musicians from the Vienna Philharmonic, Berlin Philharmonic and international soloists arrive at Hauptbahnhof daily – mostly on a Railjet from Vienna-Meidling.
Three things I tell festival guests in particular: First, if you have a concert that night, book a round-trip transfer – it's hard to find a taxi at the Festspielhaus after 22:30. Second, tell us the venue in advance – we know the right entrances (Felsenreitschule entrance 4, Grosses Festspielhaus entrance 2). Third, for cellists and bassists, the V-Class is the only vehicle where the instrument fits diagonally without touching the neck.
Our best festival service moment came in 2024: the Vienna Philharmonic had 38 musicians on one Railjet, all with instruments. We coordinated six V-Class in convoy from the station to the venue in 11 minutes. The conductor sent us a bottle of whisky afterwards.
