Four scenarios where you never noticed things went wrong.
Scenario 1: Your London Heathrow flight is 75 minutes late. You're in the air, can't see the seatbelt sign, but you know. Our system spots it at 06:34, the chauffeur gets a push at 06:35: "LH 1234 delayed, new ETA 09:12." He shifts his drive from 07:20 to 08:35. You walk out of the plane, through baggage, find the chauffeur with the name sign as expected – without anyone telling you anything "happened".
Scenario 2: Your Doha direct flight gets diverted via Frankfurt. Instead of VIE Terminal 3 you land at MUC Terminal 2. Our system catches the diversion. The Vienna chauffeur gets the message at 14:08: "Stop! Diversion." Another chauffeur in Munich takes over. You don't notice the swap because both hold the same sign.
Scenario 3: Your charter from Manchester is cancelled. The airline notifies you at 03:00; our system is notified in parallel. We auto-WhatsApp you at 03:05: "We saw your flight is cancelled. Shall I rebook for the 11:00? Cancellation fee €0." You reply in 10 minutes, we redispatch.
Scenario 4: You miss a connection in Munich (it happens, even on Lufthansa direct). We know in real time. Two options: (a) car waits for the next connection; (b) car collects you in Munich and drives direct to Salzburg (50% discount on the new flat rate).

Dispatch operator · night shift
On my night shift between 22:00 and 06:00 I see on average 14 charter arrivals from UK, Scandinavia and Israel. Of those, 4–6 are delayed, 1 is cancelled, 1 has a gate change. If I do my job perfectly, no guest notices any of it.
My dashboard shows 22 active transfers simultaneously, each with a traffic-light status: green (normal), yellow (15–60 min delay, no intervention needed), orange (60–120 min, chauffeur re-routing), red (cancellation or diversion, immediate action). At orange/red I proactively call the guest or WhatsApp them.
What tech can't replace: human judgement. Last week the system showed "green, normal" for a TUI from Manchester. My gut said something else – the pilot message on ATC said "weather diversion possible". I called the chauffeur: "Wait 15 min longer in the café instead of in the car, we might get diverted." Twelve minutes later the official notice came through. The chauffeur was relaxed in the café instead of stressed at the terminal.
