The Economy Van offers 8 seats across three rows with a low step-in that suits seniors too. We provide child seats and boosters free of charge – flag at booking.
Ski groups from German-speaking countries. Six skiers, six ski bags, six boot bags and carry-ons fit easily into a Trafic. The trip from Munich Airport (MUC) to Saalbach or Zell am See takes about 2.5–3 hours – the seating layout allows conversation in transit, ideal for last-minute planning before the ski day.
Conference and event logistics for 6–8 people. A publishing team travels from hotel to conference centre; a film crew moves equipment to a shoot at Wolfgangsee; a wedding party (parents and witnesses) is taken together in one vehicle to the restaurant. When the occasion doesn't call for a Mercedes star and budget matters, the Economy Van is the right pick.
What defines the Economy Van
Three seat rows
One front row (driver + 1 passenger), two rear rows with 3 seats each. Centre aisle allows easy entry/exit to the rear row.
Spacious cargo
Behind the third row, roughly 1.5 m³ of cargo for luggage and ski bags. Ski bags can lie flat – no damage risk.
Bottled water on board
0.33 l bottles for every guest, chilled in summer. On long-distance trips (e.g. SZG → Vienna), water is restocked.
USB-C at every seat
Every seat row has USB-C and 12V outlets. Kids can charge tablets, adults can charge phones – simultaneously.

Usually a current-generation Renault Trafic, in some cases a comparable van such as VW Caravelle or Opel Vivaro. All vehicles are licensed for premium personal transport, regularly serviced and detailed before each trip.
Is the Trafic comfortable on long trips?+
For trips up to 3 hours (e.g. SZG → Munich, SZG → Kitzbühel, SZG → Bad Gastein), the Trafic is a very good choice. For longer routes (SZG → Vienna, 3h15) and premium guests, we recommend Business Van or Luxury Van – both offer more seat comfort and sound insulation.
How much ski-bag capacity does the Trafic have?+
Standard configuration: 8 ski bags + 8 boot bags + 8 carry-ons without issues. With a roof rack (+€20), additional snowboards or long ski bags fit.
What distinguishes Economy Van from Business Van?+
The Business Van (Mercedes Vito) has higher-grade interior materials, a quieter engine, more legroom and targets business teams and conference logistics. The Economy Van (Renault Trafic) offers the same passenger and luggage capacity at a lower price – ideal for family holidays and ski charters.
