We are based in and around Salzburg and know every approach: from the terminal at Salzburg Airport (SZG) and the main station to the Old Town hotels around Getreidegasse, Mirabellplatz and Residenzplatz, where narrow lanes and pedestrian zones demand local knowledge. In more than fifteen years behind the wheel around Salzburg I have learned that with a large group it is rarely the driving that goes wrong, it is the details. Eight people with suitcases need a vehicle genuinely built for eight, and a driver who knows that the arrivals hall at Salzburg Airport is compact and that the group is best collected together at one meeting point rather than searched for in the crowd.
The mountain routes in particular are underestimated. A ski group to Zell am See or Obertauern travels over the Tauern motorway in deep winter, and when it snows every minute of preparation counts: winter tyres are standard for us, snow chains ride in the vehicle, and on fresh snow I deliberately plan extra time so the connection to the return flight from SZG holds safely. How long does the transfer from Salzburg Airport take?+
Into the Salzburg Old Town it is only about ten to fifteen minutes from Salzburg Airport. Routes into the Salzkammergut or the ski areas take longer, for example around one and a quarter hours to Zell am See. The booking calculator shows the estimated drive time for your route.
What happens if my flight is delayed?+
We track your flight live and adjust the pickup automatically, whether you land earlier or later at Salzburg Airport. Waiting time after landing is included in the flat price, and a flight delay never triggers a surcharge.
Where do we meet the chauffeur at the airport?+
