Transfer Salzburg to Schladming
From Salzburg Airport (SZG) straight to your hotel in the Ennstal valley below the Planai. Flat rate, professional chauffeur, winter tyres as standard. Both directions.
Your private transfer between Salzburg and Schladming
Schladming sits in the Styrian Ennstal valley, around 95 kilometres from Salzburg Airport (SZG). Although the town is in Styria, Salzburg is the nearest international airport and the natural arrival point for almost every guest. We meet you right in the arrivals hall and take you door to door to your hotel, apartment or chalet below the Planai. The drive normally takes about one hour and fifteen minutes.
The route leads from the airport south on the Tauern motorway A10 and, from Eben im Pongau, onto the B320 through the Ennstal valley to Schladming. It is a scenic, well built road that our chauffeurs know inside out. We monitor conditions at the Pass Lueg and along the B320 continuously and, in case of congestion or roadworks, choose the most reliable option so you arrive relaxed and on time.
Schladming is one of Austria's most celebrated winter sports destinations. The night slalom on the Planai is among the most spectacular races on the FIS World Cup calendar, and the 4 Berge Skischaukel links the Planai, Hochwurzen, Reiteralm and Hauberg into one of the country's largest connected ski areas. People who come here do not want to lose time with rental cars, snow chains and the search for parking. That is exactly what we take off your hands.
Naturally we also drive the other direction. At the end of your stay we collect you punctually from your accommodation in Schladming and bring you in good time to Salzburg Airport (SZG) or to any other destination you choose, such as the city of Salzburg or the main railway station. We plan the pick up time with a buffer for check in and security.
Our vehicles are current Mercedes E Class and V Class models, fitted with winter tyres throughout the cold season and with snow chains on board when needed. There is ample room for skis, snowboards, board bags and plenty of luggage. On request we provide child seats and keep the ride comfortable with water and Wi Fi.

What matters on the road to Schladming
Stefan Reiter
Stefan Reiter, Senior Chauffeur and Ennstal Route Lead
The drive from Salzburg to Schladming is one of my favourites. From the airport we join the A10, and within a few minutes the mountains open up ahead. The interesting point is always the Pass Lueg: on peak winter weekends traffic can build up here, so I watch conditions closely and set off a little earlier when needed. From Eben we turn onto the B320, and from there it usually runs smoothly through the Ennstal valley.
In winter the route is firmly in our hands. Our vehicles run on winter tyres from the first snowfall, and for the final kilometres up to the higher lying districts I always keep snow chains in the boot. Many guests arrive with skis or boards, and I plan the luggage space before pick up so everything is stowed safely and dry. Nobody should sit with wet equipment on their lap.
My most important tip: give us your flight number. We track every flight live, and whether you land twenty minutes early or an hour late, your chauffeur is ready. For the return run to Salzburg Airport I always build in enough buffer for check in and security, especially on busy winter Saturdays. That way you reach the gate on time and without any rush.
