For us the route does not start in Fuschl, it starts at the way out of the city. From Salzburg Süd or from the airport we head via Hof bei Salzburg onto the B158 Wolfgangseestraße. The first kilometres through Elsbethen and Guggenthal are the real bottleneck: commuters queue towards the city between 07:00 and 08:30, and the other way from about 16:00. I have been driving the B158 for over twelve years, often several times a day. Fuschl is the route where you see how fast Salzburg changes: twenty minutes past the airport you are in a different world of forest, water and quiet. What I correct most often in dispatch are return legs planned too tightly.
